 TERMS & CONDITIONS

Dotto: Objects of Curiosity LLP warrants that each of its products is free from defects in material and/or workmanship. Subject to the limitations and exclusions herein

Wood being a natural material will have some flaws, variation in color/grains, or imperfections, which is considered to be a part of its natural beauty. Natural variations in color, knots, stress marks, etc. are not considered defects of workmanship and materials. Wood surfaces are subject to denting, scratching, etc. if not properly used and cared for. Users should also be aware that all surface finishes mellow with age. Metal and Brass shouldn't be handled with direct water and chemicals. We strongly recommend not to use our products in the outdoors with rain or in areaujs with high chemicals in the air. Our designs evolve over time and there may be some variation in angles, elements, etc. compared to what is seen online. Each product being individually handmade may have minor variation in size, shape, and finish.

 

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING

  • Damage caused by improper cleaning solutions or methods

  • Damage caused by exposure to improper environment

  • Changes in the appearance of the hand rubbed finishes or un-lacquered finishes. These are meant to change in appearance

  • Any cost of installation, removal or re-installation

  • Restoration or repair work

  • Any parts purchased separately for our products

 

 

LIMITATIONS, EXCLUSIONS, AND CONDITIONS

  • The shipment /delivery time is an approximate time mentioned by the vendor against each product Dotto: Objects of Curiosity LLP shall not be liable for any delay/non-delivery of purchased goods by flood, fire, wars, acts of God or any cause that is beyond the control of Dotto: Objects of Curiosity LLP.

  • Dotto: Objects of Curiosity LLP requires proof of purchase from the original buyer.

  • It is your responsibility to notify us of any defect within 24 hours of receiving the product and given an opportunity to remedy it; any remedial work carried out by a third party will nullify the repair for the product from our side.

  • The repair does not apply to normal wear and tear, dents or scratches or usual deterioration that occurs during the course of regular use. Fading, knots opening, cracking and splitting due to normal expansion and contraction of wood on its reaction to climatic changes in its environment is deterioration expected over a period of time and are not covered in the repair of the products.

  • It requires that the product should not have been misused or handled carelessly and has not been wilfully damaged, neglected or used in abnormal conditions, fire, flood, weather, relocation, etc. Damages arising from any misuse, force or mishandling is not covered.

  • It requires that the product has not been modified, altered or transformed in any way.

  • Hardware malfunctioning that requires setting changes, such as that of hinges of the bags/clutches, loosing of the screw, etc., are not covered in the repair.

  • Appropriate maintenance must be carried out in accordance with Dotto: Objects of Curiosity LLP’s care instructions. We are not responsible for any defects due to the application of any treatment product that is not recommended by us.

  • Wood and brass finishes are not warranted as care as well as the environment in which it is used generally has more influence on the performance and life of the product.

  • If the product is not going to be used for a long time, it is desirable that they should be opened and kept in a safe and cool place to avoid accidental heat damage

  • These Limited Warranties provide coverage to the original purchaser and do not apply to rented or commercial uses.

  • In the event that a non-delivery occurs on account of a mistake by you (i.e. wrong name, address or contact number) any extra cost towards re-delivery shall be claimed by the user placing the order.

  • Damage caused by the carrier in-transit will be handled as per the norms of the carrier and insurance agency. Such damages should be notified on the same day as receipt of the goods and should be notified to the delivery agent at the time of delivery.

  • All products should be opened and checked for any defect/damage. Any such issue should be notified within 24 hours of receipt of goods. No claim after 24 hours will be considered.

  • The return of goods in case of in-transit damage should be in the original packing received by the customer.

  • The cost of transportation of goods to be repaired or replaced is to be borne by the customer except for replacement due to in-transit damage notified if notified at the time of the delivery.

  • We are not responsible for unidentified returns or items that are returned to us by mistake.

  • Once your order is confirmed, we will not be able to make any changes to that order.

  • We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on the website. However, due to monitor discrepancies, we cannot guarantee that your display of color will be accurate.


 

NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY HAS BEEN MADE OR WILL BE MADE ON BEHALF OF Dotto: Objects of Curiosity LLP WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS AND ITS PARTS, OR THE OPERATION, REPAIR, OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCTS AND ITS PARTS.

 

 

RETURNS

Because of the hand-made nature of our product, we are not able to offer returns.

 

 

CANCELLATION

After having placed their order, we do not accept any cancellation on orders.

 

 

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Due to popularity or short interruption of supply, some items may be unavailable or out of stock. Our retail outlet space vary in size, it is possible that not all items are displayed in all stores.

 

 

DAMAGES

Damages must be documented and reported within 24 hours of receipt. We are not responsible for repair or replacement of damages reported after this time. If damage has occurred in shipping, all packaging must be retained by the receiver. Failure to do so may invalidate any claim.

Please note, damaged products specific to repair will have to be couriered back to our warehouse wherein all costs will be borne by the customer themselves. Dotto: Objects of Curiosity LLP will only bear the expenses of the transaction after the repair of the merchandise.
